The Centre for Non-Financial Enterprises and Foreign Trade Performance
As part of the specialisation of the Statistical Office in Warsaw, the Centre is responsible for conducting surveys on the activities of non-financial enterprises. Responsible for conducting the following statistical surveys nationwide on the performance of non-financial enterprises:
‘Current financial results and expenditure on fixed assets of enterprises, and financial assets and liabilities’ (quarterly report: F-01/I-01 ‘Report on revenue, costs and financial results, and expenditure on fixed assets’),
“Annual survey of enterprises’ economic activity” (annual report: SP “Annual enterprise survey”),
“Enterprise groups” (annual report: GP “Statistical report for enterprise groups”),
“Activities of entities holding shares in entities with their registered offices abroad” (annual report: KZZ “Report on entities holding foreign entities”),
‘Global value chains’ (report compiled every three years: SR ‘Report on the organisation of enterprise activities’ – next edition in 2027)
“Entities with foreign capital” (an annual secondary survey, conducted on the basis of data collected in other GUS statistical surveys and based on data from administrative sources).
Furthermore, the Centre participates in conducting surveys on exports and imports in terms of volume and value.
The basic organisational and methodological principles of the above surveys are set out in the Council of Ministers’ Regulation on the Programme of Statistical Surveys in Public Statistics. In accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, for all surveys relating to the performance of non-financial enterprises, respondents submit data electronically using the online forms available on the Reporting Portal.
